Saddle Warranty
Piland saddles Inc. warrants to the original purchaser:
1.
That this saddle is made using only the best quality trees, leather and hardware.
2.That for as long as the original purchaser owns a Tim Piland Custom Saddle, the saddle tree, the horn and the rigging are guaranteed to be sound. Should one of these fail, it will be replaced at no charge to the original purchaser. (Even the trees in our cutting and reining saddles are guaranteed for roping use; however, in-skirt rigging is not guaranteed for roping.)
3.That any Tim Piland Custom Saddle that is defective in workmanship will be repaired or replaced to the satisfaction of the original purchaser. (Original ownership must be established by a copy of the original invoice.)
4.Satisfaction with your new saddle is also guaranteed. If you are unhappy with the ride of the saddle or the fit of the saddle to the horse, you may return it for replacement, adjustment or a refund for a period of 10 days. (This time period is determined from the date of receipt of the saddle. That is, you may ride it for 10 days and then return it. If the saddle is returned for a refund, the purchaser will pay all freight charges.)
5.Refunds will not be made after a 10-day period of ownership. Adjustments to the saddle or replacement of an ill-fitting tree will be made for a period of 90 days from receipt of your saddle.
6.After 90 days of ownership, only the tree and riggings warranties apply (paragraphs 1, 2 and 3.)
Limitations to warranty:
This warranty shall apply only to the original purchaser of the saddle. This warranty is not transferable to subsequent buyers.
This warranty only applies to breakage and failure of the product in normal horse riding activities. This warranty shall not apply to saddles subject to misuse, negligence or accident (i.e. trailer-loading a saddled horse, damage caused by a riderless horse or automobile accidents. No consequential damages shall be recoverable. (Some states do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation may not apply to you.) This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state.
